Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home respiratory care. The RT will set up respiratory equipment promptly after physician orders and manage ventilators.

Responsibilities include delivery and setup of non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, patient instruction, follow-up calls, and home visits as needed. A clean driving record and active RT license are required.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist required with home care experience.
• Active license as an RT (RRT/CRT) required.
• Ability to set up respiratory equipment promptly per physician orders.
• Excellent patient instruction and follow-up communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in home setting.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patient instruction on use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Perform follow-up calls with patients after setup.
• Provide follow-up care in the home as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Position:

Respiratory Therapist

General Description:

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver's license
