Job summary

SLEEP RX LLC in Salem, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with SDS sleep certification for a full-time night shift. The role involves providing sleep services for diagnostic testing and patient care.

Registered Respiratory Therapist – Sleep Technologist (SDS Certified)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) that currently has their SDS sleep certification for a full-time night shift position in Salem, VA. This role involves providing sleep services to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

Location: Salem, VA

Shift: Overnights 8:00 PM–6:00 AM

Pay Range: $30 to $40 an hour, based on experience

Requirements

• Education: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a current SDS sleep certification
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
• Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify participation).
• Must have your SDS sleep certification to qualify for this position.
• Must be a SDS sleep certification to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure within the state you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate tests and collect accurate data.
• Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
• Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
• Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
