Job summary

MEDSTAR HEALTH in Maryland is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for night shift to deliver evidence-based respiratory care across our regional health system. You will perform assessments, implement physician-ordered therapies, manage ventilators and airway support, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced, patient-first environment.

You’ll collaborate closely with nurses, physicians and allied health professionals while using advanced technology and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential preferred or must be licensed in Maryland.
• 2+ years of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist is desirable.
• Ability to work night shifts and emergencies with composure.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and customize prescribed therapies.
• Implement physician-ordered respiratory treatments and protocols.
• Manage ventilators and airway support per protocol.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and collaborate with care teams using EMR.
