Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home respiratory care, set up equipment after physician orders, and manage ventilator care. You will educate patients on device use and safety, and coordinate follow-up visits and calls within the home setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active RRT or CRT license, has a clean driving record, and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT license required.
• 21+ years old for company auto insurance eligibility.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
• Experience delivering respiratory care in home settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver respiratory equipment, including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instruction on proper use, maintenance and safety of their equipment.
• Perform follow-up calls with patients after setup to ensure ongoing care.
• Provide follow-up home care as needed and assist with ongoing equipment needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position:

Respiratory Therapist

General Description:

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License
