Job summary

Encompass Health in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct care, manage breathing treatments, and support patient recovery in our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will work with a compassionate team using cutting-edge equipment, participate in assessments and care planning, and contribute to a community-focused mission that values growth and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for gas administration, breathing therapies and medications.
• Supervise breathing treatments, perform patient assessments and create care plans.
• Build relationships with patients and family to support recovery.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
