Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver compassionate respiratory care to patients and guide them toward independence. You’ll work with cutting-edge equipment in a supportive team as part of our inpatient rehabilitation network.

You’ll provide direct therapies, assess patient needs, and contribute to personalized care plans that promote recovery and quality of life for individuals and their families.

Qualifications

• Active State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• Minimum two years hospital experience in respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care including gas administration and breathing therapies.
• Supervise breathing treatments, assess patients, and update care plans.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient recovery and outcomes.
