Job summary

Encompass Health invites you to join our Respiratory Care team as a PRN Respiratory Therapist. Provide essential respiratory care, supervise breathing treatments, and perform patient assessments within a caring inpatient rehabilitation setting in Texas.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients toward independence and well-being. We offer day-one benefits, ongoing education, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy, or medications.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, perform patient assessments, and develop and adjust care plans.
• Build meaningful patient relationships and support recovery across physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient victories throughout the recovery journey.
