Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concordville seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct respiratory care, including medical gas therapy and breathing treatments, and help develop patient-centered care plans to support safe, effective recoveries.

We offer comprehensive benefits, continuing education, and a collaborative work environment. Current state license in Respiratory Therapy and CPR are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
