Job summary

Van Matre Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver patient-centered respiratory care in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting. You will provide medical gas delivery, breathing therapies, and medications while supervising treatments and developing individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
