Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to deliver high‑quality care for patients with respiratory needs. You will provide direct care, manage breathing therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and independence.

You will guide assessments, tailor treatment plans, and monitor patient progress while building strong relationships with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas and breathing therapy modalities.
• supervise breathing treatments, assess patients, and develop and adjust care plans.
• Build rapport with patients and families to support recovery and independence.
• Celebrate patient progress and successes.

Education

Current State License in Respiratory Therapy

CPR certification
