Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home care experience. You will set up respiratory equipment after physician orders and manage ventilator settings to support patients in their homes. Strong patient instruction and follow-up are essential.

The successful candidate will handle equipment setup, documentation, and ongoing home visits as needed, ensuring safety and compliance with medical orders. A commitment to compassionate care and teamwork is key.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RRT or CRT license.
• Clean driving record and successful background check.
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience setting up home respiratory equipment and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in home settings.
• Completes delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provides patients with instruction on proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment.
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position:

Respiratory Therapist

General Description:

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.
