Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapy student to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner, following physicians’ orders. This role supports Mercy’s mission and service standards.

Responsibilities include applying respiratory care interventions while maintaining patient safety, with supervision from experienced staff. Education: active enrollment; Licensure: temporary respiratory student license; Certifications: BLS.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited school of respiratory care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
