Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapy student to perform direct patient care in respiratory therapy under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. You will follow physicians' orders and contribute to patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Active enrollment in an accredited school of respiratory care and a current Temporary Educational Permit are required, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited school of respiratory care.
• Current Temporary Educational Permit (Respiratory Student License) from state board where employed.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physicians' orders under supervision.
• Assist with patient assessments and treatment plans as assigned.
