Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking a dynamic Respiratory Fit Specialist to support the Personal Respiratory Protection Program (PRPP). This role delivers respirator fit testing, training and education for healthcare and industry clients while helping organizations meet respiratory protection requirements.

The position includes up to 20% local travel to client sites and works within the Employee Health and Safety team to deliver exceptional service and ensure program records are maintained

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Allied Health, Occupational Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Medical Assisting, Public Health, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer/patient service and administrative experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantitative and qualitative respirator fit testing and training in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Travels locally to provide fit testing services for new and existing clients.
• Coordinates fit testing appointments and serves as a resource for internal and external customers.
• Maintains fit testing, medical clearance and program records.
• Supports scheduling, billing, supply management and other program operations.
