Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a RT Equipment Tech I to clean, sterilize, and process respiratory care equipment, and maintain records of equipment, oxygen, and supplies. You will perform daily rounds to track patients on oxygen therapy, check therapy gas availability, and ensure safe function of flowmeters.

Responsibilities include cleaning and sterilizing equipment, coordinating with departments, maintaining inventories, and keeping patient and billing records in line with policies.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• 6 months of work experience.
• Additional education may substitute for additional experience above required level.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sterilize all respiratory care equipment
• Communication with different departments.
• Maintain appropriate inventories of respiratory care supplies
• Maintain patients, department and billing records in accordance with CHCO and departmental policies and procedures
• Performs appropriate equipment maintenance and checkouts
