Job summary

Effinghamschools is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Professional in Georgia to perform prescribed respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies under cardiopulmonary management, following TJC and state guidelines. This full-time night shift role requires self-motivation, confidentiality, and the ability to work semi-autonomously in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited respiratory therapy program and hold Georgia licensure, with BLS CPR and ACLS

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Georgia Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• BLS CPR and ACLS certification.
• Three to six months experience in healthcare respiratory therapy preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiopulmonary policies and procedures to personnel, patients, and family members as necessary.
• Perform prescribed respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies.
• Assist in arranging patient transport to another facility and transport intra-facility as needed.
• Maintain treatment records, patient files, and progress notes; document care provided.
