Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join a Skilled Nursing facility team. The RN designation appears in the posting but the role centers on respiratory therapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for cardio-pulmonary and related conditions in a post-acute population.

The candidate will document, coordinate with physicians and staff, and educate families while maintaining licensure and professional standards in a supportive care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient treatments and develop treatment plans following facility procedures.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress clearly for regulatory and billing needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate patient progress and plans.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy goals and follow-up.
• Maintain safety, perform annual equipment checks, and ensure infection control practices.
• Contribute to professional development and uphold licensure and ethical standards.
