Job summary

Trident Technical College is seeking a program coordinator for the Respiratory Care Program reporting to the Dean. The role leads program administration, curriculum management, accreditation activities, and student success initiatives, while teaching and developing coursework.

The ideal candidate has NBRC RRT credentials with at least five years of full-time experience, plus two years of teaching in a CoARC-accredited program, and must hold SC licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Five+ years of NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Two+ years of teaching in a CoARC-accredited program as adjunct or preceptor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Respiratory Care Program, including curriculum development, outcomes assessment, accreditation compliance, and advisory committees.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate adjunct faculty.
• Support student development through advising, recruitment, retention, and job placement assistance.
• Maintain course materials, syllabi, and participate in instructional development.
• Maintain office hours and meet reporting deadlines.
• Participate in college committees and professional development.
• Travel to clinical sites as needed.
