Provides respiratory therapy services and medical equipment to patients, assessing treatment needs, developing care plans, and coordinating with healthcare providers.
Administers respiratory treatments per physician orders, educates patients and caregivers on equipment use, evaluates treatment outcomes, manages departmental supplies, and ensures safety protocols.
Associate’s degree or equivalent; no prior experience required.
Valid driver’s license, proof of motor vehicle insurance, and professional licenses including BLS, RRT, and Respiratory Care Practitioner (specific to state). Must perform physical activities like standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating equipment. Strong communication skills are essential.
Assess patients, develop and modify treatment plans, provide respiratory care, troubleshoot equipment, educate patients, and participate in inventory management.
Day shift, Monday to Friday.
