Job summary

Providence is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Hobbs, New Mexico. This full-time position includes delivering respiratory care procedures, documenting care, and managing patient billing.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program and must obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. The role may provide both full-time day shifts and part-time night shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree from an AMA approved school or equivalent in respiratory care.
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS Certifications within 90 days of hire.
• New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.

Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents all respiratory care on appropriate records. Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory care equipment. Completes patient billing.

Shift Details

Full time Day shift

Part time 0.6 FTE Variable Night shift

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree- Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent education/experience or Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state.
• 1 year of experience (May include clinical portion of training program).

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Flight Training.
