Job summary

Covenant Covenant Hobbs Hospital in Hobbs, NM, is seeking skilled respiratory care professionals for part-time, 24-hour weekly shifts. You will plan, perform, and document a wide range of respiratory procedures and diagnostic studies, while maintaining equipment and handling associated patient billing.

Ideal candidates hold an AMA-approved Respiratory Care degree or higher, and possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with NM licensure if practicing in New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved Respiratory Care program or equivalent education/experience.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association on hire.
• ACLS certification by American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification by American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License on hire, if practicing in NM.
• At least 1 year of experience (may include clinical portion of training).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies.
• Document all respiratory care on appropriate records.
• Inspect, test, maintain, and operate respiratory care equipment.
• Complete patient billing.

We have part-time 24 hour a week variable shift available positions.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree - Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent education/experience or Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state
• 1 year of experience (May include clinical portion of training program).

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Flight Training.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
