Job summary

Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in WA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for multiple shifts (0.9 FTE night/day, 0.6 PT, 0.01 per diem). You will prepare and operate respiratory care equipment per physician orders and contribute to education and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements include AMA-accredited degrees, WA Respiratory Care Practitioner License, BLS and ACLS within specified timeframes. Excellent benefits and a strong team culture are offered.

  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment as requested by physician.
  • Participates in in-service education and quality assurance program.
  • Performs duties in alignment with Providence Mission and Standards of Conduct.

$20,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services and upon the request of the physician sets up and operates, according to established departmental policies, various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. Has an active role in in-service education and quality assurance program. Demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy, Mission and Values of Providence and Providence Standards of Conduct.
