Job summary

Providence Tarzana Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist responsible for administering and charting all aspects of respiratory care under the supervision of the medical director.

You will work under the Director and Clinical Coordinator, handle patient care, license requirements, and participate in shift work across multiple shifts at the Tarzana campus. Our program emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program for respiratory therapy.
• Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer and chart all aspects of respiratory therapy under the supervision of the Medical Director.
• Perform duties per respiratory care practitioner license requirements.

Reporting to the Director of cardiopulmonary services and Clinical Coordinator of the Respiratory Therapy department, this position is responsible for administering and charting all aspects of respiratory therapy depicted by the respiratory care practitioner license under the direct supervision of the medical director.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a program for respiratory therapy.

• Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.

• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months Work experience.
