PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to support inpatient care across our hospital team in Florida. The role provides routine and emergency cardiopulmonary therapies, with emphasis on patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a state license to practice respiratory care, current BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of clinical experience.

Formación

• Must be licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of employment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• High school diploma or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Overview

We are looking for aRespiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
