Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospitals of Miamisburg is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team and care for a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have inpatient hospital experience or a strong willingness to learn and grow within our program.

You will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and assist with phlebotomy and basic lab testing as required, supporting our mission to

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• High school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
