The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides comprehensive respiratory care services across acute and sub-acute settings. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, administering respiratory therapies, managing invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, performing airway management and arterial blood gas analysis, and responding to respiratory emergencies, Code Blue, and Rapid Response events. The RCP collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes, supports long-term ventilator and tracheostomy patients, educates patients and families, maintains respiratory equipment, and ensures accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
