Job summary

Providence Covenant Specialty Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to plan, prepare and deliver respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. You will document care, test and operate respiratory equipment, and assist with patient billing at Covenant Specialty Hospital.

Texas licensure, BLS at hire, and ACLS/PALS within 90 days are required; a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork is essential in a night-shift role.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA-approved program.
• 1 year of experience in respiratory care or clinical training.
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License at hire.
• BLS certification at hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and delivers respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies.
• Documents respiratory care on patient records.
• Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory care equipment.
• Completes patient billing.
