Job summary

Orangecountyglobalmedicalcenter in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to support NICU patients with prescribed therapies, under established standards and practices. This varied-hours role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree in respiratory therapy, NBRC RRT, California RCP license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with neonatal care exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program.
• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• California RCP license required.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications per American Heart Association.
• 1 year of acute care hospital respiratory care experience; neonatal exposure preferred.
• MAB certification required within 60 days of hire and annually thereafter.

Salary Range: $46.00 To $46.00 Hourly

Provides respiratory therapy to patients orders, according to established standards and practices.

Requirements:

1. Successful Completion of an associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program supported by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or equivalent.

2. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).

3. Current RCP license in California.

4. BLS, ACLS and PALS (must be completed by American Heart Association)

5. One year of previous experience preferred in acute care hospital respiratory care, critical care and neonatal exposure highly desirable.

6. MAB certification required within 60 days of hire and annually thereafter
