Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• NBRC RRT certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification required and maintained.
• ACLS certification required and maintained.
• PALS certification preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of medical director and cardiopulmonary director, perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with attention to age-specific needs.
• May be identified as Lead RCP to oversee the section or department during a shift.
