Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the Respiratory Therapy Unit.

This part-time role features 12-hour Day Shifts in Eureka, CA, with base responsibilities including cardiopulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic procedures in a patient-focused care environment. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program, hold California RCP licensure, and possess BLS certification with ACLS and PALS within required

Qualifications

• Graduate of a respiratory therapy program approved by the AMA committee.
• California RCP license required on hire.
• BLS certification on hire; ACLS and PALS within 90 days.
• Within 90 days: ACLS and PALS per American Heart Association.
• Two years hospital-based RCP experience in multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary procedures per standards.
• Serve as patient advocate and health team member across ages.
• Provide customer service to patients, families, and staff.

Education
