Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary Torrance Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient-focused care under medical leadership. The role covers neonates through adults, with responsibility for prescribed treatments and tests in a safe, professional manner.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, following the Respiratory Care Practice Act and hospital policies. California licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required or obtained within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Formal training in pediatric respiratory care which includes didactic and clinical experience.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Within 90 days of hire: ACLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 90 days of hire: PALS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and manage treatments for patients from neonates to adults.
• Perform procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
• Collaborate with the patient care team under medical and department leadership.
