Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital on the Oregon coast seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner for an on-call, variable schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts in the Portland metro area. The candidate will perform respiratory care services in line with department standards and work with a dedicated care team at a 25-bed facility.

Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Oregon RCP license, and BLS/ACLS with PALS and NRP within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education/experience.
• Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Respiratory Care Services in accordance with departmental standards and protocols.
• Deliver patient-centered respiratory care across shifts, including nights.
• Collaborate with the Providence Seaside Hospital team to support care delivery.

Providence Seaside Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with full accreditation by the Joint Commission that offers primary and specialty care, respiratory outpatient services, general surgery, radiology, diagnostic imaging, pathology and emergency medicine 24 hrs./7 days-a-week.
