Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Empathy and compassion for young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in handling children.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers.
• Provide flexible classroom support to ensure a high-quality educational experience.
• Organize and prepare engaging classroom materials and learning centers.
• Supervise and engage with children indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety and social development.
• Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate progress and achievements with families.
• Maintain clean, inviting classrooms in line with health and licensing regulations.
• Assist with daily care routines to promote a nurturing learning environment.
