Job Overview

St. Cletus School, in St. Charles, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resource Instructor to join our faith-based learning community. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering academic, social, and spiritual growth. This role also involves acting as a liaison between St. Cletus and the local public school district. A commitment to inclusive education and collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff is essential to ensure student success.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based setting.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavioral interventions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans tailored to student needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations.
  • Utilize research-based strategies to support students with learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and spiritual growth.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure students receive appropriate support.
  • Work with the local public school district regarding testing and services for students.
  • Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Participate in professional development, school meetings, and faith-based activities.
