The Goddard School located in Rocklin is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Resource Teacher to join our team. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Resource Teacher, you will collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs and activities throughout our school. Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum and Instruction:
  • Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers
  • Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide flexible classroom support for a seamless educational experience
• Classroom Management:
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support daily routines and transitions to promote a nurturing learning environment
  • Support Lead Teachers in addressing behavioral issues with positive guidance and support
• Family Communication:
  • Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities and acheivements
  • Encourage family involvement and participation in school activities
• Health and Safety:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
• Professional Development:
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  • Stay current with best practices in early childhood education
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies

• Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • Shows empathy and compassion for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. in connection with the handling of children
