The Goddard School of Baltimore (Locust Point) seeks a dedicated Resource Teacher to support Lead and Assistant Teachers in delivering engaging programs. This role emphasizes classroom support, adaptive curriculum delivery, and meeting evolving educational needs of our school community.

You will collaborate closely with staff, families, and children to create a nurturing, safe learning environment and contribute to a premium educational experience in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Empathy and compassion for young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass required state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers.
• Provide flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
• Organize and prepare engaging classroom materials and learning centers.
• Supervise and engage with children indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety and social development.
• Collaborate and communicate with families about children's progress and achievements.
• Maintain clean and inviting classrooms adhering to health, safety and licensing regulations.
• Assist with daily care routines to promote a nurturing learning environment.
