  • Manage consulting contracts and vendor agreements with procurement, legal, and finance; lead vendor management activities.
  • Coordinate annual planning and forecasting: MYC, MRP, budget tracking, and scenario planning.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide visibility into resource utilization for leadership decisions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and transparency.

Job Description

As a Resource Strategy and Planning Lead (Associate Director), reporting to the Chief of Staff, Global Communications & Governance (GC&G), you will serve as a key member of the Chief of Staff Office (CoSO) within GC&G organization. In this highly strategic role, you will drive organizational effectiveness by leading global talent optimization, talent development initiatives, consultant and resource management, and budget governance. Partnering closely with GC&G leadership, Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, and external partners, you will oversee pivotal GC&G processes that support the team's people strategy, resource allocation, and operational excellence. Leveraging strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills, you will help ensure GC&G has the talent, resources, and operational capabilities needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving environment.

How You Contribute
  • Lead GC&G's resource planning and workforce management processes to optimize talent allocation, manage annual performance review processes ensuring consistency across the organization, facilitate yearly succession planning, and partner with key stakeholders such as leadership and HR to assess future readiness of our talent.
  • Oversee and continuously enhance the rotational and mentorship programs, including participant selection, placement coordination, stakeholder engagement, and program effectiveness measurement.
  • Coordinate and promote training and development opportunities that build capabilities and support professional growth across GC&G.
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, and Finance to manage consulting contracts and vendor agreements aligned with company policies and budget expectations as well as lead consultant vendor management activities such as onboarding, performance monitoring, engagement oversight, and relationship management.
  • Coordinate and manage annual planning and forecasting activities, including Mid-Year Corrections (MYC), Mid-Range Planning (MRP), and budget tracking activities for GC&G by developing budget reports, forecasting, scenario planning, and optimization recommendations.
  • Support the development of dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide visibility into resource utilization performance that supports leadership decision-making through data-driven insights, recommendations, and risk identification
  • Identify and implement process improvements and operational excellence initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder experience.
  • Lead special projects related to your expertise through efficient and effective planning, communication, execution, tracking/reporting, facilitating, and risk mitigating activities with a focus on outcomes and solutions.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of business experience, ideally in operations, finance, human resources, or strategy roles.
  • Proven experience managing complex cross-functional programs and organizational processes in a global environment.
  • Strong understanding of talent optimization, talent development, succession management, performance management, and budget governance practices.
  • Experience managing consulting vendors, external partnerships, and contract-related processes.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, transformational environment, demonstrating agility, independent judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities while driving outcomes with minimal direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to navigate ambiguity, lead through change, and collaborate across teams to deliver business results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while delivering high-quality outcomes under demanding timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and advanced AI skills with tools such as Copilot
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, operations, human resources, finance, organizational development, or a related field.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$154,400.00 - $242,550.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
