The Clinical Excellence Lead Nurse acts as a liaison between the Practice Manager and the nursing team, keeping the Director of Clinical Excellence apprised of any issues. **ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Performs all the principal duties and responsibilities of the registered nurse as required.* Ensures the nursing team is trained effectively in all technical responsibilities.* Ensures clinical staff are educated on new initiatives or practice changes.* Assists with onboarding checklist and training new staff after orientation and during the first 90 days of employment.* Assists Practice Manager with hiring clinical staff.* Assists with documenting and follow up of clinical incidents including retraining staff if necessary.* Attend staff meetings and huddles as needed.* Assists Practice Manager and Director of Clinical Excellence with other tasks to improve clinical practice.* Leads initiatives to improve patient safety, outcomes, and the overall quality of care by implementing evidence-based practices and analyzing data.* Stays up to date on the latest research and technologies in healthcare for improved patient care**JOB QUALIFICATIONS*** **Required Skills:** Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to work with clinical staff.
