Job summary

PulteGroup, Inc. is seeking an organized Resource Planning Assistant to support the Resource Planning Manager with homebuilding project data, permits, plot plans, and field paperwork.

You will help manage field documents, use Transact and Concur, coordinate with municipalities and traders, and prepare capacity and trend reports for production meetings.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support resource management activities as directed by the Resource Planning Manager.
  • Assist in compiling information to start homes, including permits and plot plans, ahead of planned start dates.
  • Manage distribution of field documents revised after initial release to the field.
  • Proficient with Pulte systems such as Schedules, BWP, Transact and Concur.
  • Interact daily with municipalities and trade partners; assist with payments and information requests.
  • Assist in digital management and storage of approved permit documents.
  • Maintain content on Build With Pulte website.
  • Support capacity and trend reports for production meetings.
  • Process invoices and allocate costs to correct lots using Transact and Concur.
  • Adhere to Clean Sweep policy for records storage.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Support resource management activities at the discretion of the Resource Planning Manager.
  • Assist in compiling information necessary to start homes, including permits, plot plan. JIO's, etc and provide to field team ahead of planned start date.
  • Manage distribution of any field documents revised after initial documents were sent to the field.
  • Proficient in using Pulte-supported systems, including Schedules, BWP, Transact, Concur, etc.
  • Interacts daily with municipalities and trade partners, including inspection fee payments, resolving municipality issues, and resolving trade partner requests for information.
  • Assist in executing the digital management and storage of approved permit documents.
  • Manage information/content on “Build With Pulte” website.
  • Assist RPM in producing capacity and trend reports to support department production meetings.
  • Process invoices for payment by accurately assigning costs to correct lots, using Transact and Concur.
  • Adhere to "Clean Sweep" Policy when saving department records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work consists of tasks that are typically routine with some deviation from standard practice. Works under moderate supervision for routine tasks. May seek advice of more senior personnel in the same area.

Leadership & Talent Management: May provide guidance and assistance to new or entry level employees.

Knowledge & Experience: Requires operational knowledge of systems and procedures. Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years relevant work experience. Some job areas may require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

Required Skills/Knowledge: Strong computer skills; literacy in scheduling software, MS Office; Attention to detail.
