Job summary

Advocate Health's Wake Forest Baptist division seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Resource Team. The role requires floating to multiple Wake facilities, delivering basic patient care under RN supervision, and supporting daily activities for patients.

The position requires an active CNA, BLS within 45 days, and 1+ year of acute care experience (2+ preferred). Shifts are 12 hours, with weekend/holiday rotation and no on-call.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measure and document vitals (BP, TPR), intake/output, daily weights in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collect urine, stool, sputum and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Run errands, restock nursing area, clean equipment and assist with patient positioning.
