Job summary

DMC Primary Care, a physician-owned, independent practice with offices across southern New Hampshire, seeks a motivated Medical Assistant to serve as Resource MA at our Raymond and Windham locations.

This full-time role (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm) leads MA orientation, education, and coordination at the designated site; reports to the office manager and supervises day-to-day MA activities to keep workflows efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited medical assistant program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience, outpatient setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred; EMR experience highly desired.
• BLS certification required; MA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding training with newly-hired medical assistants.
• Competency reviews of new medical assistants.
• Ongoing education and trainings with MA staff on office workflows, clinical competencies, and quality initiatives.
• Manages stock of Point of Care Testing (POCT) and other medical supplies.
• Ensures exam rooms are stocked, clean and orderly.

DMC Primary Care, a physician-owned, independent practice, with offices throughout southern New Hampshire, has been providing comprehensive care for entire families since 1964. We seek a motivated, energetic, experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to serve as Resource MA. This is a full-time position that will be based on our Raymond and Windham practice locations. The successful candidate will have leadership experience. This full time (40 hours per week) position is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

SUMMARY

Our Resource MA's are primary resources for the orientation, education, and coordination of Medical Assistants in their designated practice location. They are required to demonstrate leadership skills, be a role model for their teams, and facilitate practice workflow. Under the direction of the office manager, the Resource MA collaboratively supervises Medical Assistants in day-to-day activities.

In addition to the regular duties of a Medical Assistant, our Resource MA's duties and responsibilities also include (but are not limited to):

• Onboarding training with newly-hired medical assistants.
• Competency reviews of new medical assistants.
• Ongoing education and trainings with MA staff on office workflows, clinical competencies, and quality initiatives.
• Manages stock of Point of Care Testing (POCT) and other medical supplies.
• Ensures exam rooms are stocked, clean and orderly.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of accredited medical assistant program preferred.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience is required, preferably in an outpatient setting. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience with EMR highly desired.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

BLS Certification is required. MA certification strongly preferred but not required.
