Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in Clover, SC. This role involves delivering SPED services, developing IEPs, and coordinating case management with district support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Special Education or related field.
• SC Special Education certification or eligibility to obtain SC certification before start date.
• Experience supporting students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with educational technology and IEP documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized resource instruction and inclusion support to students with disabilities in accordance with their IEPs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Partner with general education teachers to adapt curriculum, modify instructional strategies, and implement appropriate accommodations and supports.
• Conduct progress monitoring, collect student data, and adjust instructional interventions to meet individual learning needs.
• Manage special education case responsibilities, including maintaining compliance documentation, participating in eligibility evaluations, and attending IEP meetings.
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff to create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in developing academic, organizational, and self-advocacy skills that promote success in both resource and general education settings.
