Job summary

Sunriver Resort is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness in vacation homes, condos and guest rooms in accordance with resort standards and OSHA guidelines.

You will work in a team, stay aware of safety issues, and ensure guest property is respected. The role requires customer service experience, the ability to handle a fast-paced environment, and a flexible schedule including evenings or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping/custodial experience preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• At least one year's customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have excellent listening skills.
• Must always ensure a teamwork environment.
• Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of resort property. Cleans vacation homes / condos / guest rooms and other work areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes all designated areas to Sunriver Resort standards.
• Must be able to work in team environment.
• Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
• Acts with responsibility / respect towards all company property, equipment and co workers.
• Changes soiled linens on beds and makes beds following the resort protocol.
• Keeps housekeeping caddy clean, stocked and orderly at all times.
• Removes all trash and waste to disposal containers.
• Follows through on lost and found procedures. No articles shall be removed from occupied rooms. Absolute respect for guest property should always be exercised.
• Washes windows, walls and woodwork, blinds as needed.
• Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, floors and showers.
• Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor.
