Job summary

The Springs Resort & Spa in Pagosa Springs, CO seeks a PM Engineering Maintenance Technician to maintain hotel buildings, guest rooms, and public areas. This role supports daily operations, ensuring safety and comfort, with on-site responsibilities and a rotation that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with licensed contractors for major repairs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
1+ years of maintenance experience in hotels, resorts, or commercial buildings.
Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, meeting spaces, and public areas.
Respond to guest room work orders (HVAC, plumbing leaks, electrical fixtures, door hardware, furniture).
Troubleshoot minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues within scope of certification.
Conduct scheduled inspections of building systems and log findings.
Complete work orders accurately using the property's maintenance management system.
Assist with seasonal preparation of exteriors and event spaces.
Maintain a clean, safe engineering shop and storage areas.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
