A prestigious wellness resort in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a full-time Laundry Attendant to handle various laundry tasks and maintain cleanliness in working areas. The ideal candidate should be able to stand for long periods, work flexible hours including weekends, and have good communication skills. Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk during entire shift.
• Flexible hours with a willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to read, interpret and understand directions verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must meet routine deadlines.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort incoming laundry items from resort departments.
• Load and unload washers and dryers.
• Fold dry linens and terry.
• Run sheets through the presser folder.
• Restock the shelves with clean linens.
• Air-blow the sensors on the presser and folder.
• Sweeping and mopping to maintain working area clean.
• Promptly report to supervisor any malfunctions of the equipment.
• Sort out and report any damaged/stained linens or terry.
• Any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
