Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Springfield, MA is seeking a Houseperson to support Guestroom Attendants in maintaining a clean, guest-ready environment. This position leverages prior housekeeping experience to handle cleaning procedures, inventory and guest requests.

The starting rate is $18.40 per hour, with a full-time schedule of 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:45 PM, including weekends and holidays. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and

Qualifications

• Experience in a resort housekeeping environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies.
• Willing to work a full-time schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned areas are kept clean and neat.
• Clean ash urns, lamps, mirrors, and floors.
• Deliver items to guest rooms (refrigerators, pillows, rollaway, crib).
• Empty trash and linens from Guest Room Attendants’ carts as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels and stock lockers with supplies.
• Follow safety, cleaning and room readiness procedures.
• Clean restrooms, vacuums halls, lobbies and edges.
