Job summary

Capital Vacations in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to uphold the highest cleaning standards for resort properties and units. You’ll lead, train, and schedule the housekeeping team to deliver safe, clean, and welcoming accommodations for Owners and guests.

The role requires at least two years as a housekeeping supervisor, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with flexibility for shift scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a housekeeping supervisor.
• Demonstrable leadership skills.
• Flexibility needed for scheduling purposes.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs all housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, linen replacement, laundry, and inventory management of housewares.
• Establishes an employee work schedule and plans daily work assignments.
• Trains and coaches employees in laundry and housekeeping.
• Inspects equipment and ensures it is in working order.
• Cooperates with housekeeping staff and other departments to provide quality service to Owners and guests.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas; manages budget and materials; responds to guest requests.
