Job summary
Island Hospitality is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician in Colorado to perform routine and preventative maintenance at our Resorts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, as well as experience in general maintenance. Responsibilities include minor repairs, inspections of amenities, and maintaining the presentable state of the resort. Benefits include healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and employee discounts. Qualifications
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to provide legible written reports.
Proficient in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
Demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
Ability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of the Resorts.
Complete minor repairs to rental homes and facilities as needed.
Inspect playground area and equipment, pool/spa area, and other recreational amenities.
Ensure the resort is presentable and inviting at all times.
Maintain resort vehicles and equipment.
Follow safety procedures while performing duties.
