TradeWinds Resort, managed by Highgate Hotels, seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor areas and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to work outdoors in various weather, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Training provided; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, groundskeeping, or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and presentation of the property for a welcoming environment.
• Sweep sidewalks, walkways, entrances, patios, and outdoor areas; remove dirt and debris.
• Inspect grounds and remove debris affecting appearance.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles; return to proper locations.
• Inspect lobby, entrances, and pool areas to maintain neatness.
• Monitor and tidy outdoor furniture and resort amenities.
