Job summary

Magic Tree Resort in Kissimmee, FL, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join a team-focused environment. This full-time, hourly role requires weekend availability and on-call shifts, with a schedule from 8AM-5:30PM, Friday through Monday, plus one additional weekday.

The role covers preventive maintenance, guest repair responses, and coordination across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, ensuring safety and quality in all operations.

Qualifications

• Supports facilities technician team with knowledge of all aspects of facilities maintenance.
• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Uses the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical Trade or Vocational School Degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintains maintenance inventory and requisitions parts and supplies as needed.
• Performs tests, troubleshoots, and basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and other guest room items.
• Programs TVs and performs general housekeeping and technician-related inventory duties.
• Addresses guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
